Permission Slip for Solar Eclipse

The solar eclipse is a great learning experience to start the new school year.  Because it is unsafe to look directly at the sun, we have purchased eclipse glasses for all students and staff.  These glasses meet ISO 12312-2 standards as recommended by NASA, so that students can safely watch the eclipse.  Students will only be permitted outside during the eclipse if wearing the glasses.

Parent permission is required for students to participate in viewing the eclipse.  School supplied glasses are required for viewing.  Students whose parents do not complete the permission slip or choose to opt out of the viewing will be able to watch the eclipse via NASA's web-streaming.
