Our hearts go out to the people in Houston suffering due to Hurricane Harvey.
In our 7th and 8th grade social studies classes, our students study current events. After learning about Hurricane Harvey, some of our 8th grade students decided that they wanted to do their part to help. They have been busy this week planning a hat day that will take place on Friday, September 1.
Thanks to our 8th graders for leading this effort. Service learning is an important subject that is weaved throughout our curriculum.
