Mrs. Beaston's 5th Grade Classroom

Mrs. Beaston's 5th grade social studies class made puzzle pieces of the United States map. 5th grade has spent the last 8 weeks learning about the different regions of the US. Each student received one to two states to complete. They had to color the state in the region it belongs. 5th grade separated the states and capitals into four different regions. Each region was a different color. Students labeled their state with the state name, located the capital and added the postal abbreviation. Students then did research to correlate a picture that goes with their state. Students loved completing this project and it was a great study resource for them. We are very proud of the final "masterpiece". Great job!
