NJHS Service Project: Sustainable Fresh Water

Our National Junior Honor Society  educated our student body about the lack of fresh, sustainable water in parts of rural Africa.  We learned about this health crisis that could easily be solved by building fresh water wells in the affected areas.  We put our education into action by holding a fundraiser to build a well in rural Africa.  Each well costs $400.00 and our goal was to raise enough money to build one.  We surpassed that goal by raising $500.00!  Thanks to our National Junior Honor Society for leading us in this important fundraiser.
