6th Grade Student of the Month: Jazz Band

This student works so hard in his classes that he was asked to join the Jazz Band as a 6th grader!  He can be counted on to do what is needed and to help others around him.  He makes everyone feel included and is positive and upbeat!

Wacky Warrior Competition

7th Grade Student of the Month: Kinidi

Our second 7th Grade Student of the Month works hard and is very helpful.  She consistently goes above and beyond in all her classes.  Congratulations, Kinidi!

Veterans Day Recognition: Breakfast with our Veterans

It was a special time having breakfast with our 55 veterans when they were at our school for our first annual Veterans Day Recognition.  It is important for us to honor those who serve and teach our children about the value of freedom.

7th Grade Student of the Month: Brendan

Congratulations to Brenden for being named the 7th Grade Student of the Month.  Brenden is a hard worker and he is always helpful.  We are proud of Brenden's contributions to Whiteside Middle School!

Veterans Day

It was an honor and a privilege to welcome veterans to our school for our First Annual Veterans Day Recognition.  Our students invited family, friends, neighbors, and former parents to be honored.  We greeted our 55 veterans at the door and took them to our classrooms for our program.  They were greeted by our students with a grateful, "Thank you for your service."
