5th Grade Young Authors

Maris is an avid reader and writer!  She is so creative and we love the positive impact she has on our school.  Maris won the 5th Grade Young Authors Award and she represented our District at the St. Clair County Young Authors Conference.  Congratulations, Maris!

Geography Fair

The 8th Grade Geography Fair is one of the best family events at Whiteside Middle School.  Our students taught us about the diverse and beautiful countries of our world.  Thanks to Mrs. Katherine Mertens for organizing this event.  Enjoy all the wonderful photos!

6th Grade Young Authors

Earth Day Celebration: New Raised Beds #ILScienceWeek

We celebrated Earth Day by planting in our new raised beds!  We planted spinach and lettuce.  We have big plans for our garden this year.  I will keep you posted on our growing progress!
