35th National Night Out

Come and celebrate the 35th Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7, at Three Springs Park from 6pm-9pm.  There will be food, face painting, games, K9 demonstrations, crime prevention tips, child ID kits, police cars, and fire trucks.  Come and join the fun!  This event is sponsored by the Village of Shiloh and Target.  For more information, contact the Shiloh Police Deparment at 618-632-9047.

Back to School Registration: July 26, 1pm to 7pm

We were excited to greet our families at Back to School Registration!  Our next registration session is Thursday, July 26th from 1pm to 7pm.

Back to School Registration

Our first back to school registration will take place on Wednesday, July 25th from 7am to 1pm at Whiteside Middle School.  I am looking forward to seeing all of our families at registration!

Grounds and Custodial Crew

Our grounds and custodial crew have been busy all summer making our building shine!  They are working hard to make our facility an inviting, vibrant place for learning.

Computer Lab

Our custodial and grounds crew have been working hard all summer to make sure our building is ready for students.  Our facility looks beautiful!  Our newly renovated computer lab is part of the improvements that have been accomplished this summer.  Now all we need is for the students to arrive and advance in their computer science knowledge. 

Charging Carts

As part of our technology additions, we will have eight new Chromebook charging carts.  Our students will have more opportunities with the additional technology.  All the Chromebooks will be easily available in our classrooms.  Thanks again to our Board of Education for purchasing the charging carts.

Parent Teacher Club and Chromebooks

We are adding more technology to our classrooms for the 2018-2019 school year.  Thanks to the Whiteside School District Parent Teacher Club for purchasing 50 additional Chromebooks for the District.  Our Parent Teacher Club supports our students in many important activities throughout the school year.  Please get involved in this organization as we work to make our District even better!

Chromebooks and Charging Carts

Our Whiteside School District Board of Education voted to purchase 370 Chromebooks and 8 charging carts for Whiteside Middle School.  The added technology will enhance our curriculum and instruction.  Thanks to our Whiteside School District Board of Education for working hard to meet the technology needs of our students.

New Sport: Cross Country

We will have a new sport at Whiteside Middle School for the 2018-2019 school year!  Thanks to Mrs. Bolding for organizing our first cross country team.  Tryouts will take place on Monday, August 20th from 3:00-4:00 pm.  The physical and sports packet are due by Thursday, August 16th. 

School/Sports Physical

Does your student need a school or sports physical?  We will have a Nurse Practitioner at Whiteside Middle School on Thursday, July 19 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The Nurse Practitioner will be doing school*/sports physicals for a cost of $20.00 (must pay cash or check made payable to Whiteside School).  Get your physical so you are all ready for the 2018-2019 school year and sports tryouts.
