Science Club: Tower Building Challenge

   At the Science Club meeting,  members competed in the Tower Building Challenge.  They had three challenges to complete and rotated through 3 different stations.  During the One Block Challenge, the students could use plastic cups, Popsicle sticks, and one wooden cube to build the tallest structure that could be supported by just one block. Essence  and Grace won the One Block Challenge.  During the Spaghetti/Marshmallow Challenge, the students could only use spaghetti and marshmallows to build the tallest free-standing structure.  Jada, Creighton, and Hailey were our winners for the Spaghetti/Marshmallow Tower Challenge.  Last, but not least, during the Straw Tower/Bridge Challenge, the students had to build a structure out of straws and tape that could support the most marbles.  Samantha and Ashlyn were our winners for the Straw Tower/Bridge Challenge.
