Special Needs Soccer Association

Coach Vollmer does so much more than teach her athletes how to play soccer.  She teaches them how to be compassionate people who care for others.  On a very early Saturday morning, Coach Vollmer loaded up a bus with her soccer athletes and they headed to Fenton, Missouri to volunteer at the St. Louis Special Needs Soccer Association.  This organization is a not-for-profit, St. Louis based soccer program for young people with disabilities.  It is open to any boy or girl with a disability ages 5-21.  It is designed to bring the excitement and fun of playing soccer to players who traditionally have not had a place in the youth soccer system.  Our students gained to much by volunteering in this program.  Thanks to Coach Vollmer for her dedication to her athletes.
