As educators, we love to see kids reading! It is a priority to instill the love of reading into all our students. That is why the Read-A-Thon is such an important family event at Whiteside Middle School. Next year, our plan is to hold three Read-A-Thons. I am already looking forward to our future ones.

Our Broadcasting Club had the unique opportunity to take a field trip to meet with Investigative Reporter Kiya Edwards at KSDK. The students got a special tour of the building and attended the Show Me St. Louis show. Thanks to Kiya Edwards and KSDK for inspiring our young broadcasting students.
