Summer Professional Development

The summer is a great time for professional development.  Mrs. Dumey, Mrs. King, and I had the great opportunity to attend a professional development session with Jennifer Connolly at the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education.  In this workshop, Jennifer guided us through a technique that can be used with students to help them learn to respond more constructively to each others' written work.

Community Recycling Day

Our Science Club organized a Community Recycling Day with Power Recycling.  Citizens dropped off office equipment, machinery, and appliances.  Our focus this year in Science Club is ecology and caring for our environment.  We started the year off the right way by hosting the recycling drive.  Our next one will be on Saturday, October 19th.
