This bread is called a babka, and it is a traditional Eastern European recipe. Babka and challah would be traditional foods eaten on Sabbat. Students in Mrs. Stratton's class studied some Jewish history, culture, and traditions in order to add context to their Holocaust memorial unit as well as to make them better global citizens.
