Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day: Manufacturing Engineering

We learned about manufacturing engineering at Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  The students applied their knowledge by building structures that could withstand the weight of several marbles.  The students were given a fixed amount of "money" that they could use to buy supplies at the "store" for their construction.
