Egg Drop Challenge

The Science Club hosted its annual Egg Drop Challenge.  Each member or pair of members constructed a crate that was to prevent an egg from breaking as it was dropped from 12.1 meters or 40 feet above the MPR.  The crates had to be less than 500 grams and the dimensions had to be less than 20 cm on any side (length, width, and height). The crate that was closest to the target without the egg breaking was the winner.  In case of a tie, the crate with the lowest mass was declared the winner. We had a great turn out for the event! We especially love it when our parents attend our events. Our winners were:
1st  Place:  Andrew
2nd Place:  Sabrina
3rd Place:   Grace
